Thanksgiving Football Game Pep Band (Thursday, November 23rd) CANCELLED
Due to Southeastern informing us today that Color Guard would not be able to perform we are cancelling the Thanksgiving Day football game pep band performance (this includes band). We apologize to all involved and wish to say thank you for your continued commitment to performing at sports events. Enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday.

If there are any problems or questions, please let Mr. LeMarier know by emailing Mr. LeMarier at elemarier@wbridgewater.com. Thank you for your understanding and attention to these matters.

Brockton Christmas Parade Info (Saturday, Nov 25)
The HS Band, MS Band, and Color Guard will be performing in the Brokcton Christmas Parade on Satuday, November 25.

The Brockton Holiday parade will be on Saturday, November 25th. All students must wear their WB uniform shirts, black shaker hats (if Santa hats are not given by Mr. LeMarier), black pants (no yoga, exercise, or sweatpants - think the same pants you wear for your concert), and black shoes or sneakers to march. Dress in layers (thermal, long sleeved warm shirt, etc...) under the WB uniform shirts to stay warm. Every student is expected to attend unless they have a letter that has been received from the student’s parent(s) or guardian(s) delivered to Mr. LeMarier by Tuesday, November 17th.

Step off time for the parade will be at 12:30PM and it might take some time after the parade for the bus to locate us, navigate traffic back to the HS, and drop off students back at the HS. Students are to be dropped off at the high school no later than 11:15AM. A bus will be picking up all parade participants at the high school. All students are responsible for remembering their instruments for the parade and should leave their cases with parents before going on the bus. All students are to be picked up at WB High School once the bus drops them off after the parade (estimated arrival time 1:15-2:00PM)

If there are any problems or questions, please let Mr. LeMarier know by emailing him at elemarier@wbridgewater.com. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. A parade map and times will be given once it is received from the Brockton parade organizers.

Please click here to see the letter that was passed out in class.

The East Bridgewater Christmas Parade will be on Saturday, December 2nd. All students must wear their WB Band uniform shirts, black pants, and black sneakers or black shoes to march. Every student is expected to attend unless they have a letter/email that has been received from the student’s parent(s) or guardian(s) by November 27th.

Music Boosters Meeting
The Music Boosters will be having their meeting on Tuesday, November 7th at 6:30PM in the HS Band Room. All parents of students are invited and encouraged to attend.

Honors Band Requirements
The Honors Band requirements were passed out at the beginning of the school year. All Honors Band students were told to go over these requirements and contact me if there were any problems. I have posted them here for all to be informed. If requirements are not followed, students will be graded as such.

Please click here to see the Honors Band Requirements letter that was passed out in class with the expectations of being an honors student in band.

Pep Rally, Friday, October 27
All Color Guard and MS/HS Band students did an excellent job performing at the pep rally. You can see from the video below that it was an event where the band was encouraged and supported by the school audience in attendance.

Band/Chorus/Color Guard Music Events 2017-2018
The HS Band, MS Band, and Chorus will be doing performances throughout the year. You can download a list of planned performances HERE. They were passed out to all band members during the first class. We are requiring all band and chorus students to attend these performances unless a letter is received from a parent/guardion by the stated notification deadline to the event that includes a reason for not being at a performance. It is important that students make every attempt to be at these events. Please contact Mr. LeMarier or Mrs. Diman if there are any concerns. Thank you for your understanding as we strive to stake our claim in the culture of WBMSHS.
