Band and Chorus
Senior SEMSBA Festival
The music department
would like to congratulate Colleen Daly, Valerie Hurst, Jessica Gullak,
and Jacob Cobb on their succesful performances at the 2017 Senior SEMSBA
festival. It was a fun weekend in which they were able to work
with an auditioned band and guest conductors. SEMSBA is a
collection of 33 member schools in Massachusetts who promote music
performance groups in school programs. Each year they have a
Senior festival (grades 10-12) and Junior festival (grades 7-9) in which
students from SEMSBA member schools can audition to make the festival
band. It is a very prestigious event and often times the first
auditioned group a lot of performing students makes in a school setting.
We would also like to congratulate Chris Nenopoulos who
will represent West Bridgewater at the Junior SEMSBA festival on May

Band/Chorus Field Events 2016-2017
The HS Band, MS Band, and Chorus will be doing performances throughout the year. You can download a list of planned performances here. They will be gone over during the first classes. We are requiring
all band and chorus students to attend these performances unless a letter is received from a parent/guardion prior to the event that includes a reason for not being at a performance. It is
important that students make every attempt to be at these events. Please contact Mr. LeMarier or Mrs. Diman if there are any concerns. Thank you for your understanding as we strive to become more of a part of the culture of WBMSHS.
